CANDIDATES FOR DISTRICT DEPUTY

With prayer and discernment, I announce and declare my candidacy for Re-Election the office to District Deputy of the Western States District. Enclosed is a brief summary of accomplishments during my tenure in the Knight of Peter Claver. I have been a member of the Knights of Peter Claver for over 15 years and have served as your District Deputy for the past 5 years. CANDIDATES FOR PRESIDENT

I am running for re-election to the Office of President of the Western States District Conference, Knights of Peter Claver.

In my first term the Conference conducted a very successful 2019 Western States District Conference in Phoenix, AZ.
This success required strong and clear decision making while integrating several new Board members and working with a new Ladies Board President. Read more

Brother Dickerson is a mentor for the youth in his community and outreach program adding to the Rights of Passage program.  Brother Dickerson also assist the elderly helping with transportation to and from appointments and register elderly votes in past elections.

Brother Dickerson most recently he as the coordinator of the distribution of the Mask Giveaway sponsored by the National Office in the Northern California area for the Order.

As a member of the Western States District Conference Brother Dickerson served the District well - District Director - 13 years; Sergeant-at-Arms 6 years and currently Area Representative for the WSDC.  Serving as Area Deputy 10 years plus.  Currently serving as the President - Northern California Inter Councils & Courts.  A Silver Medal recipient.  Served as the first Supreme Scribe for the Supreme General Assembly - Fourth Degree Knights.

I have consented to run for President at the urging of my Council and many members throughout the District.  I am humbled by their gesture.

CANDIDATES FOR TREASURER

I am asking for your support in Electing me as your WSDC Treasurer. I have been a member of the Knights of Peter Claver inc. since November 1999 with St. James the Apostle Council 358 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Read more

This is a call to service, and my only mission is to serve my community in any way my skills and expertise can be utilized in the effective propagation of our faith and the Gospel.

I have been fortunate to serve my Church and our noble order in several capacities and I have always exceled in my assigned tasks.

I am the incumbent (appointed), serving as Treasurer of the WSDC when the post was vacated. I stepped up to the task and accepted to serve, and during the pandemic we have continued to do our best under the very unusual and uncharted terrain to keep things functioning.

I believe much has been given to me, and I am willing to give back, share, train and mentor others.

A treasurer needs steady hands and a clear mind, which I possess; and with the support of the entire District, I am will continue to discharge the duties to the best of my abilities.

CANDIDATES FOR RECORDING SECRETARY

Bro. Eduardo Ford joined the Knights of Peter Claver, January 26, 2018. Bro. Ford was appointed to serve as Recording Secretary for the WSDC, December 22, 2020 and is currently also Area Representative to the WSDC Board for Area 7, San Diego, representing Christ The King Council # 371 and St. Rita's Council # 384. Prior to joining the KPC, Bro. Ford was Recording Secretary for the Knights of Columbus for two consecutive terms, 2015-2017. Bro. Ford is a retired Mechanical Engineer. Most recently, Principal and owner of ColdWorks Engineering, Inc., a professional consulting engineering company. Bro. Ford and his wife Emilia reside in San Marcos, California.

CANDIDATES FOR SERGEANT-AT-ARMS

I ask for your support and vote for Sergeant at Arms of the Western States District Conference and shall be present at the opening of the Conference meetings, maintain order and decorum necessary.  I will take charge of the guards appointed at entrance to the meeting chamber and collect fines during the meetings and shall perform other duties as may be imposed by law and at the discretion of the Conference.
